- TakeYourBike.org is a not-for-profit organization that was created in an effort to help raise awareness of the many benefits introduced by incorporating commuter cycling into your daily life. We promote the many positive facets of a commuter cyclist's lifestyle including the health benefits, environmental sustainability, economic impact, and the community mentality. Riding by example, we are touring the West coast from Canada to Mexico in September and October 2010 on two wheels stopping to lead awareness rides in metropolitan areas along the way in hopes of building a more active and conscious base of commuters - cyclists and non-cyclists alike.
