Lots of News!!!!!

There has been a lot of positive news in the TakeYourBike world in the last week, and we couldn't be more excited it. We're less than 4 weeks away from the start of the Border2Border tour, and things are getting crazy. Everyone on the TYB team is working full-speed to make sure that we're ready to go on September 12, and that we're set up for success.

First, remember that our jersey giveaway and Border2Border ride contest is still going on with Forever Athletes and you can enter FREE here. A few answers about what you do to stay active (uh... ride your bike?!?!?) and you've got a chance to win a TYB and Forever Athletes cycling jersey and a chance to ride with us on the Border2Border tour. How cool is that?

While we're on the subject of TYB swag, it's worth mentioning that our store is up and running on the TakeYourBike site and you're just a few clicks away from ordering your very own TYB shirt or "Going somewhere?" wristband (check out those photos above!). All proceeds from our swag sales go to support the Border2Border tour and the riders that will be out there with us. We need your support, and you need a cool new shirt, right?

As you may or may not know, while we're out on the Border2Border, we'll be leading a bunch of awareness/group rides. We want to take the time to meet all of you that ride your bikes in the great towns and cities that we're riding through this fall, and we want to hear your stories and ride your roads. All of the information will be out on the TYB site as we start nailing down details. The first stop of the tour includes a ride in Seattle out of the Montlake Bike Shop (good people) at 7 PM on Monday, September 13. We'll be there at 5 PM with some TYB swag - come by and hang out and say hello before the ride leaves at 7! We won't be alone - our sponsor Bear Naked Granola will be out with some samples of their tasty products to help fuel us all for the ride!

On that note, we'd like to take a minute to thank our sponsors for their support. It means the world to us, and it helps make all of this possible. They're all great companies with solid values and some of the best teams of employees in the world. Check them all out:

WOW. We're still an up-and-coming orginzation, but we're blowing up in the granola world:
